  1. Configure Components: Click on each component node to configure its settings. You'll need to specify the details required for each component's function, such as data sources, destinations, and any processing logic.

  2. Set Alert Receivers: Define who should receive notifications in case of alerts. You can set up various receivers like email, Slack, or Telegram.

Configuring Alerts

Properly configured alerts are essential for monitoring the health of your data workflows.

You can set the alert level and receivers for each component during the setup process.

Here's how to customize alerts for your pipelines:

  • Alert Severity: Assign a severity level to potential alerts to indicate their importance. Choose from a range of severities, such as Low, Medium, High, or Critical. A 'Critical' alert signifies a high-priority issue that requires immediate attention.

  • Notification Receivers: Determine who should receive alerts by selecting from a list of predefined receivers. These could be specific individuals or groups, such as your development team on Slack or a dedicated Telegram channel.

  • Create Receiver: If the desired receiver is not listed, add a new one on the fly. Simply click 'Create Receiver' to define a new notification destination, ensuring that no alert goes unnoticed. The new receiver will be available for selection in the alert configuration and can be utilized by any component of your DatErica setup.
